This large celadon charger measures 45 cm in diameter with a height of 8.3 cm and a base diameter of 26.8 cm. The interior features a central carved peony medallion surrounded by a ruyi scroll border, with dense fish-scale patterns covering the walls up to the foliated rim. The jade-green glaze has a smooth, semi-matte finish with small kiln flaws scattered across the surface. The scalloped rim edges show characteristic orange-brown burnt marks where the glaze thins to reveal the underlying clay body. The unglazed base exposes buff-colored stoneware with visible throwing rings and kiln grit from firing.
