The body features a lush lotus pond scene with pink blossoms, multicolored lily pads in green, blue, and brown, and a pair of mandarin ducks nestled among the vegetation — a classic symbol of marital harmony. The rim is bordered with a green and blue geometric lattice pattern punctuated by medallion cartouches containing auspicious symbols, while the base is finished with a vibrant polychrome dot border in blue, green, red, and black. The underside bears a green Artemisia leaf mark in the Kangxi tradition. The interior is plain white glazed, and the piece shows minor kiln characteristics consistent with 20th-century Chinese production.
